Clubs and Special Activities

Greenfield Elementary sets a high standard of achievement academically for all of our students, but we also believe it is important to offer opportunities outside the common academic classroom.

We offer musical, physical, and academic enrichment opportunities for many of our students.

Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program that is designed to
encourage students to read quality literature.
Fifth and sixth grade students are teamed in groups of three to compete and test their memories in three exciting school-wide competitions during the school year. The highest scoring team from each school goes on to represent their school at the District Competition. The top 3 scoring teams from each of the three Semifinals compete in the District/City Finale. The 3 top teams that win at the City level go on to compete with other cities in the Regional Battle between Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Higley, and Queen Creek.
Be a part of the book battle of the year!

Physics Club

Zoology Club

The 4th grade team hosts Zoology club over an eight week period. Students who would like to participate meet during their lunch period where they will eat and participate in activities.  During this time, we will work to explore animal classifications, habitats, predators, prey, and incorporate projects involving technology to name just a few!  This club will be student/teacher led, culminating with a night spent at the Phoenix Zoo. Don’t miss out!

Running Club

Gator Running Club

Here is our 2nd season of the Greenfield Elementary Gator Nation RC!  This is an after school club for 2nd - 6th grade students who are interested in and enthusiastic about running.
