4th Grade
Room 215

I am excited to make this the best year ever.  I encourage my students to take risks and not be afraid to make mistakes, for without mistakes, we don't really learn.

In 4th grade we have many exciting things to learn, and some fun activities as well.  Zoology, field trips, electricity, learning to play the recorder, and lots of new things in math and writing as well.

Welcome to a fun filled year of new experiences!

About Me

This is my 6th year teaching at Greenfield, but my 17th year teaching altogether.  I graduated from the University of AZ with my Bachelor's Degree, and then received my Master's Degree from Northern Arizona University.  I taught in Gilbert years ago, but decided to take some time off to raise my own children.  That time turned into 19 years.  It is time off that I don't regret, and was ready to start new 6 years ago! I am very excited to be back in the classroom full time!

i was born and raised in Yuma, AZ with 11 brothers and sisters. My mother turned 95 in November!  I am married to a Gilbert Native who has been farming in the area  his whole life. I have 2 children and 3 step children. I am blessed to have 4 wonderful grandchildren.  My daughter graduated from UA and my son attends there now.
